GOIP China [CN Care Cyber Cloud Ltd] held Cybersecurity seminars with the European Chamber of Commerce in South China, both Guangzhou and Shenzhen on the 25th and 26th of October 2017. GOIP China wants to thank you Four Seasons Guangzhou and Shangri-La Hotel Luohu for hosting both seminars. The events exceeded 50 registrations, which stresses the importance and the awareness of the Cybersecurity among businesses in South China.
GOIP China hosted in Guangzhou Dr Michael Tan from Taylor Wessing and Vivian Desmonts from DS Avocats, who shared its legal views on the newly implemented Cybersecurity law from China Government. The law impacts foreign and Chinese businesses at different levels China. The businesses are concerned whether their business complies with the law. Mr Tan and Mr Desmonts were able to elaborate on the concerns of the attendees for both seminars.
The legal advice was given with an E-commerce, data cross-border, database and cybersecurity focus, which the new law in China is targeting since June 1st, 2017. Mr Terry Chan, E-commerce expert and Chairman of Hong Kong e-Commerce Supply Chain Association (HKeCSCA) was sitting on the panel in Shenzhen to share his expertise and knowledge about cross-border e-Commerce in Asia and around the world. Mr Philip Wong was giving a presentation, from an operational point of view, stressing the emphasis on the implementation within businesses from top management to junior employees and most importantly involving everyone in the organization for implementation. Ally Shen, from Denton, our moderator, shared her view and ran the panel discussion in Shenzhen towards our speakers and clarified questions raised by the audience.
