Cybersecurity Law & VPN Regulations with DCCC Shanghai
Many businesses may acknowledge and be aware of Cybersecurity law and VPN regulations but are not trained accordingly in China. The Danish Chamber of Commerce in China, Shanghai (DCCC) hosted an event on October 17th, with nearly 30 attendees, to inform foreign businesses about cybersecurity’s best practices and VPN rules and regulations in China. The event was hosted at the Four Seasons Hotel, Weihai Road, Shanghai.
Maxime Oliva, CEO at TekID, a Cybersecurity company that specializes in threat intelligence in China, gave a lecture on how to distinguish different Cyber-attacks and to stress the fact that can happen to any of our corporations and businesses.
With the future of VPN in China, many companies are struggling to keep in touch with the rest of the world. Alain Joyal, Vice President of Corporate Communication at GOIP AULA Ltd went over the new regulation and law in China about the “cleaning and standardizing” access to the internet.

The DCCC emphasized the fact that collaborating with industry stakeholders and government agencies improves understanding of developing threats. Sharing information externally allows others to assess their own security posture, expose any gaps, and contribute to the latest developments in policies.
